How to Make Soil for Potted Plants

Potted plants are a great way to add some greenery to your home or office, but they need special soil to thrive. Regular soil that you find in your yard is not suitable for potted plants, as it can become compacted and waterlogged. To ensure that your plants have the best possible environment to grow, follow these simple steps to create a high-quality potting mix.

Step 1: Gather Materials

Before you begin, gather all the materials you’ll need for your potting mix. Here’s what you’ll need:

Peat moss

Perlite

Vermiculite

Step 2: Mix the Ingredients
