The germination time of pepper seeds is related to temperature. The temperature needs to be kept between 15-35 ℃. In this range, the higher the temperature, the shorter the germination time. Generally, it takes 5-7 days to germinate at 30 ℃, 7-10 days at 25 ℃, and 10-15 days at 20 ℃

2、 How to promote germination

1. Seed selection: select seeds with fuller particles, and the dry germination rate is low. Generally, pepper seeds can be stored for two years, and those with more than two years are difficult to germinate

2. Disinfection: put the seeds into 10% trisodium phosphate solution and soak them for about 20 minutes. After that, wash it with cleaning to avoid drug residue. It can also be exposed to the sun for two days without watering

3. Seed soaking: soak the seeds in hot water at 50-55 ℃ for 15-20 minutes. It needs to be stirred continuously during the period. After the temperature decreases, hot water should be added to keep the water temperature unchanged. After 20 minutes, add appropriate cold water to reduce the water temperature to about 20 ℃, and soak for 6-8 hours

4. Sprouting: find a medium-sized plate and put a wet paper towel on it. Put the seeds evenly inside and cover them with plastic film. It can germinate in 15-35 ℃ for one to two weeks
