1、 Planting time

Watermelon is usually planted in spring. Early maturing varieties are planted almost in the middle of March and will grow and mature in the first and middle of July. Some are late maturing, and the planting time is about the middle and late April, while others are planted between June and July

If it is planted in the greenhouse, it will be relatively casual. Usually, when cultivated on land, the ground temperature is best maintained at 15 ℃, too low is conducive to the growth of watermelon seeds. Therefore, the specific time of planting is uncertain and should be adjusted according to the local climate

2、 Planting method

1. Sprouting: before planting, put it in warm water for a period of time, and take it out after about 12 hours. The purpose is to soften the seed skin, then wrap it with wet gauze, spray water every day and wait for small buds to grow and sow

2. Planting: after doing the germination work, plant the small bud of the seed upward into the soil, bury it in the soil and pour some water on it
