1、 Rootstock selection
Triangular plum generally uses the same kind of purple flowers as rootstocks. It is required to grow well without diseases and pests. It will be difficult for other flowers to survive as rootstocks, and grafting with the same variety is more conducive to its growth p>
2、 Scion treatment
The scion should choose healthy and strong branches, and use the new branches born in the same year, not the old branches and bare branches. Leaves and 2-3 buds should be kept on the branches. The rootstock shall be prepared before pruning, and the branches shall not be placed for a long time after being cut off. It can be preserved in clear water for a short time, but not more than two days p>
3、 Grafting
Cut the tree stem of the rootstock, flatten the wound, and cut it longitudinally in the middle, leaving a gap with a depth of about 2-3cm. Remove the leaves at the lower part of the scion, and then cut the bottom into a wedge, with a length of about 3cm. Insert the bottom of the scion into the gap of the Rootstock to make the surfaces of the two wounds fit together. Part of the scion wound should be exposed, which is more conducive to healing p>
4、 Bandage healing
Use adhesive tape to bind the place where they fit. Be sure to completely cover the wound to avoid diseases caused by bacteria. After wrapping, it can be covered with plastic bags, which can effectively moisturize. You can also wrap it in a newspaper to avoid direct sunlight. Generally, it can survive after two weeks. After one month, the adhesive tape should be removed for normal maintenance p>
