1、 Can it be inserted
The branch of Osmanthus fragrans can be cut alive, but it will not take root if it is not operated properly. This is also a common breeding method. It is generally carried out in spring or autumn. Cutting can be carried out from March to may or from September to October. The temperature during cutting should be controlled well, at about 25 ℃. If the temperature is high or low, the cuttings may not take root p>
2、 Cutting method
1. Branches: the branches used for cutting grow better, and if they are born in the same year, the more robust they are, the higher the survival rate will be. You can't use diseased branches. There will be bacterial residues on such branches. Even if the cuttings survive, their growth will be very poor p>
2. Treatment: find a pair of dry scissors, the top position should be trimmed into a flat mouth, but the bottom should be cut obliquely. You don't need to keep too many leaves on the branches. Just keep about 3 leaves on the top. After pruning, put it into rooting solution, soak for 60 minutes and take it out p>
3. Cutting: prepare the cutting substrate in advance and disinfect it before cutting. Then insert the treated branches into the soil instead of directly inserting them into the soil. It's best to make a hole first and then insert the branches. Finally, press the surrounding soil and pour some water appropriately p>
