1、 Flower cutting time
In order to ensure the better quality of dried flowers, they are usually cut off before they are fully open. And put it in a dark and dry place to dry to avoid fading due to the sun. If it is a bouquet of cut flowers, it needs to be dried as soon as possible to avoid discoloration of petals due to oxidation p>
2、 Dry flower method
1. Hanging: if it is usually made at home, the branches of flowers can be tied with thread. Then hang it on the clothes hanger to make it a certain height from the ground. The suspension method takes several weeks to completely dry the flowers, during which the petals may fall off. The advantage of this method is that it can keep the flower shape and be easy to display in the bottle p>
2. Embossing: cut the flowers and lay them on paper, then cover them with a piece of paper, and then put them in a thicker book. After closing the book, you can press something on it. The advantage of embossing is to save space, but the flower is easy to deform, which is not suitable for some double petals. The pressed dried flowers can be saved in the picture frame p>
3. Microwave: Microwave flowers can't carry stems. Put them on a plate and cover the surface with quartz sand and corn flour. Then heat it in the microwave oven. After 1-2 minutes, the flowers are basically dry. The advantage of microwave is to save time and dry flowers quickly, but dry flowers lose their stems and have less effect p>
4. Desiccant: dry the cut flowers with dew, then put them into a glass bottle, and then pour in the desiccant. The desiccant should submerge the flowers, but it should not be squeezed too much to avoid damaging the flower shape. It can be dried in about a week, which is a relatively fast and convenient method for drying flowers p>
5. Silica gel powder: silica gel powder is used in the same way as desiccant. It is also used to put flowers into glass bottles and drown them p>
