1、 Cuttings treatment
The healthy branches of 1-2 years old should not be too old or too tender. Cut it into small sections, each with 2-3 bud points and several leaves. Then apply plant ash on both ends of the branch, or soak it in carbendazim solution. Put rooting powder on the bottom after taking it out, which can accelerate the rooting of cuttings p>
2、 Basin soil preparation
The growth conditions of Dendrobium are very harsh, but in order to ensure the survival of cuttings, loose and breathable soil must be used. Using coconut bran soil or sawdust as matrix, or cutting with water moss, vermiculite and so on, also has a good survival rate p>
3、 Cutting
Insert the treated cuttings into the substrate. Unlike many plant cuttings, the branches of Dendrobium should be cut obliquely at an angle of less than 30 degrees. In addition, it can't be inserted too deep, as long as it won't fall down. After insertion, ensure that the bud point is upward, so it is easier to take root and sprout p>
4、 Subsequent maintenance
After cutting Dendrobium, water it once and put it in a cool and ventilated place. The environment should have high humidity. In areas with dry climate, you can spray water around and cover it with plastic bags to moisturize. Open the ventilation regularly every day to avoid various diseases caused by poor ventilation p>
