1、 Can you change the soil
Clivia usually blooms in winter. It is not suitable to change the soil at this time, which will consume a lot of nutrients. At the same time, it may hurt the roots and cause the flowers to wither. The plant will enter the dormancy period in summer. Due to the high temperature, it is not recommended to change the soil. Generally, the soil is changed in spring and autumn, which is its growth period. After changing the soil, it can also take the basin quickly p>
2、 How to change soil
1. Stop water and remove the basin: if you are ready to change the soil for Clivia, stop water for a few days to let the soil dry a little. At the same time, it is more conducive to changing the pot and won't hurt the root p>
2. Basin soil preparation: the new soil should not only be rich in nutrition, but also have good drainage. It can be mixed with rotten leaf soil, pine needles and river sand, and a little base fertilizer can be added p>
3. Transplanting: first remove the Clivia from the basin and loosen the soil at the edge of the basin, so that it can be taken out easily. Take out the soil ball at the root, and then put it upright into a new basin, fill and compact it p>
4. Follow up maintenance: if the basin soil is wet, do not water it immediately after changing the soil, and water it once every 5 days or so. If the basin soil is dry, pour it through and put it in the shade p>
