2、 Rootstock treatment

Rootstocks should be strong and free of diseases and pests, so as not to affect the growth of scions. Saw off the smooth part of the trunk, and the saw mouth should be flat. Then cut it lengthwise, with a depth of about 4-5cm. Do not pull out the knife immediately after cutting, but wait until the scion is inserted

3、 Scion selection

The scion should choose the branches with strong growth, with 2-3 buds on it, and the diameter should be a little smaller than the rootstock. Cut the bottom of the scion into a wedge, with a length of about 4-5cm, so that it can be easily inserted into the rootstock

4、 Grafting

After handling the rootstock and scion, it can be grafted. Use a knife to open the cut of the rootstock, insert the bottom of the scion, and then pull out the knife. Ensure that the scion and rootstock cambium fit together, which is more conducive to the recovery of the wound. Then wrap it up with plastic strips, and cover all the wounds to avoid infection with bacteria
