1、 Cut branches

First select the well grown plants and cut the branches with air roots from above. It is very important that the air roots can easily take root in water. It is required to grow healthily without infection with diseases and pests. It can be about 0.5 in diameter, 15-25 cm in length, and leaves are left on it

2、 Prepare container

The hydroponic container can be made of glass, which is beautiful to match with the plant, and it is convenient to observe the changes of the root system. After disinfection and cleaning, put it aside for use. The water quality can be purified water, which is relatively clean. If the conditions do not allow, tap water can be used, but it needs to be dried and left to stand, so as to volatilize the chlorine inside, which is beneficial to plant growth

3、 Hydroponic culture

Insert the cut branches into the container, fill it with clean water, and the water level should cross the air root, so as to facilitate the growth of small fine roots. Change the water once a day and spray water on the leaves. In addition to promoting rooting, it can also improve the ornamental quality. Then it is placed in astigmatism and cannot be exposed to strong light

4、 Later maintenance

The surrounding temperature shall be maintained at about 15 ℃ to ensure the water change frequency. It can take root after about 15 days. After the root system is stable, the water change frequency needs to be reduced
