1、 Cutting method

1. Cutting cuttings: cut cuttings on the mother plant of cactus. The knives used need to be disinfected first and can be wiped with alcohol. Cuttings should have good growth, and mature and healthy stem nodes will be easier to survive

2. Preparation of matrix: it likes the matrix with good air permeability, so it should buy or prepare the cutting matrix in advance. If the air permeability is not good, it is easy to cause the cuttings to rot

3. Drying cuttings: after cutting cuttings, apply carbendazim, so as to avoid decay as much as possible. Then place it in a ventilated place without sunshine for drying. When the incision becomes dry, it can be used for cutting

4. Cutting: insert the dried cactus stem into the pot soil, and water it to keep the soil slightly wet. Finally, put it in an airy place for maintenance. It will grow roots after waiting for about a week

2、 Precautions

The cuttings should be dried after cutting. If there is juice flowing out of the incision during cutting, it will not take root normally, and the cutting may fail. Therefore, it must be dried for a few days after cutting
