1、 Grafting time
The survival rate of orange grafting can reach more than 90% in summer or autumn. In addition, we should be optimistic about the weather when grafting. If it is cloudy and rainy, we should try to avoid it p>
2、 Grafting method
1. Treatment of Rootstocks: when grafting, the method of "t" shaped budding can be used. First, cut the rootstock into a "t" shaped mouth about 4cm away from the ground, and cut it to the point where the xylem can be seen p>
2. Start grafting: peel off the bark of the rootstock with the tip of the knife, disinfect the interface, and insert the buds with petioles. When grafting, keep it as clean as possible, and finally wrap it with clean plastic film p>
3、 Grafting maintenance
After grafting, the height of soil should be about 10cm, and the watering amount should be seriously controlled. Wait until about 10-15 days to dig the soil and check the buds. If it is tender green, it means that the grafting is successful p>
