1、 Transplanting time
Holly transplanting is generally carried out in the dormancy period, usually from October to December. It can also be transplanted in spring, but it is easy to hurt the roots and needs a long time to slow down the seedlings. The Yangtze River basin can be transplanted in the plum rain season, with fast rooting and high survival rate. Do not transplant in summer. It will do great harm to it and is not easy to survive p>
2、 Dig out plants
Before transplanting, you need to simply trim it to reduce the consumption of water and nutrients. Properly water the soil to make it moist, so it is easier to dig it out. Be careful when digging out, and take the earth ball at the root, otherwise it will be damaged and affect its survival p>
3、 Transplanting
Select a suitable planting site and dig a hole slightly deeper than the earth ball. Plant holly in it, fill it with soil, compact it, and water it through. In case of large-scale transplanting, it is necessary to control the firmness of each plant to avoid being too close to affect the light and ventilation p>
4、 Slow seedling maintenance
According to the different transplanting time, the maintenance methods in the slow seedling stage are also different. If it is transplanting in autumn and winter, watering should not be too much. When transplanting in spring, it should be given sufficient light and watered regularly to keep the substrate moist. Transplanting in plum rain season is OK as long as there is enough rain, otherwise more water is needed p>
