1、 Can you hydroponic culture
Evergreen pruning can be hydroponically cultured. It is more suitable to grow in a humid environment. Hydroponics can better meet this condition. Moreover, hydroponic culture is relatively clean and hygienic, and it is not suitable for disease and insects. However, the water quality should be strictly controlled, and the nutrient solution should be used appropriately to avoid damaging the roots p>
2、 How to Hydroponic
1. Cutting branches: select healthy and strong branches on evergreen, with a diameter of more than 1 cm. Cut a section 5-8 cm long and keep the stem nodes on it. The position of the stem node will take root. It can't be raised without the stem node p>
2. Disinfection: apply potassium permanganate solution on the bottom of the cut branches. The concentration of the solution should not be too high. It needs to be mixed with water into pink to avoid damage to branches. After that, put it in a cool and ventilated place. After drying, it can be hydroponically cultured p>
3. Container selection: the size of the container should be moderate, and it is best to choose slender transparent glass cups or glass bottles. This is more conducive to its shaping, but also to observe the situation inside. Pour two-thirds of the water into the container. The water quality is better. The tap water can only be used after drying for a few days p>
4. Hydroponic culture: put the bottom of the branch into the water culture container to make the stem and node submerged. Change the water every four days and add a little nutrient solution. After rooting, the frequency of water change can be reduced, once a half month in summer. At the same time, the water volume shall be controlled so that some roots are above the water level p>
