How to Grow a Bean Plant in Water

1. Choose your container

The first step is to choose a clear glass or plastic container. It should be large enough to accommodate the bean seed and some water, and clear enough to allow you to see the roots and growth of the plant.

2. Prepare the container

Wet a cotton ball or paper towel with water and place it in the bottom of the container. The cotton ball or paper towel should cover the entire bottom of the container and be slightly thicker than the seed.

3. Add the seed

Place the bean seed on top of the damp cotton ball or paper towel. Gently press it into the cotton ball or paper towel with your finger, making sure it is in contact with the moisture.

4. Add water

Add enough water to the container to cover the bottom half of the cotton ball or paper towel. Make sure the water does not cover the entire cotton ball or paper towel, as this can cause the seed to rot.

5. Find a sunny spot
