Peach budding can be carried out from July to August, when grafting will survive better. When budding, select high-quality scions and rootstocks, use sharp knives to peel 1cm at the upper end and 1cm at the lower end of the rootstock bud eye, cut vertically opposite the bud bud and remove it. The scion is also peeled, and then taken down on the rootstock and bound with plastic bags.

1. When budding, it is best to choose annual seedlings for rootstock and high-quality branches for scion. The selected scion should be strong enough with full flower buds

2. Prepare a sharp knife and peel it at 1cm above and 1cm below the bud eye, and go deep into the xylem. After that, vertical cutting shall be carried out on the opposite side of the bud bud, and then it shall be stripped off

3. The scion should also be peeled to the same size, and then the buds peeled from the scion should be placed on the rootstock and tied tightly with a clean plastic bag

3、 Precautions

After grafting, when the grafted part has healed, the bound plastic bag needs to be removed in time, which is beneficial to its later growth
