1、 Grafting time
The time of kiwifruit grafting is after sprouting in spring, probably in April. It is suggested to carry out it from Qingming Festival to Guyu. At this time, the climate is helpful for grafting and the survival rate will be higher. When grafting, we must avoid the bleeding period of kiwifruit trees. If we graft in spring, we may encounter late spring cold, which will be unfavorable to the grafting p>
2、 Precautions
1. The tools used for grafting should be disinfected. If there are residual bacteria on it, it will invade from the incision of rootstock or scion, which will reduce the probability of grafting survival. Moreover, the incision should be smooth p>
2. The cutting of rootstock should be the same as that of scion, and the difference should not be too much. Generally, the thickness is more than 0.6cm p>
3. When grafting, let the rootstock and scion stick together, and align all the cambium as much as possible without gap between them. After grafting, it should be tied well and should not touch water. In addition, the incision should not be exposed to the air for a long time. After cutting the section, it should be grafted as soon as possible p>
