1、 Cutting time

Cutting rose is best in spring and autumn. In spring, it can be carried out around May and in autumn, it can be carried out in October. Normally, as long as the temperature is suitable during cutting, it can reproduce. When cutting, the temperature should be adjusted at 20-25 ℃ as far as possible. If there are greenhouse conditions, cutting can be carried out at any time of the year

2、 Cutting method

1. Cutting cuttings: cut branches with a length of 10-13cm from the mother plant of rose. Remember not to use branches that are too tender and too old. The use of semi lignified branches is the most conducive to rooting

2. Treatment of cuttings: the cuts on the cuttings should be smooth, and the bottom leaves should be broken off, which can reduce the transpiration of water. Use carbendazim solution, put the cuttings in, take them out and dry them in a minute

3. Prepare flower soil: the flowerpot should be prepared in advance and filled with some breathable and fertile soil. Flowerpots should also have good air permeability. It is best to have drainage holes at the bottom to prevent the accumulation of water

4. Start cutting: before cutting roses, pour some water, and use chopsticks to make a hole in the basin soil, and then put the treated cuttings in. After fixing, keep the temperature at about 20-25 ℃ and soon grow roots
