1. Before rooting: when cultivating hyacinth with water, how much water can determine the height of water level and affect the growth of bulbs. Before rooting, the bottom of the bulb just touches the water, submerges the bottom of the bulb, and the bottom of the bulb does not touch the water. These three methods can be taken and can take root. However, if the first and second methods are adopted, the bulb can contact the water surface, which will be easy to mildew, leading to the bulb rot and no rooting. Therefore, it is recommended to add an appropriate amount of water to keep the root a few millimeters away from the water surface during hydroponic culture. If the roots are not exposed to water before rooting, although it has humidity and can promote rooting, the speed will be slower than other methods

2. After rooting: after hyacinth takes root, in order to grow better later, the water level needs to be lowered to make the bottom of the seed ball 1-2 cm away from the water surface, leaving this part of the distance, which can be more breathable, the root can also contact with the air, and it is not easy to rot
