1、 Cutting method

1. Cutting cuttings: the selection of cuttings is very important, which can determine the possibility of survival. The twigs of the current year can be selected. Cut the branches from the plants in good growth condition. The branches should be strong and have vitality. Cut the branches into about 5-7 cm, cut the leaves at the bottom, and keep the leaves at the top

2. Preparation of matrix: the matrix used for cutting should ensure air permeability. Clean vermiculite or sandy soil can be used. It should be disinfected before use. It can be filled with disinfectant or exposed to the sun

3. Cutting: install the prepared substrate, then insert several holes on it, dip the selected branches with a little rooting agent, and then insert them into the substrate. It doesn't need to be too deep, and the depth is about 3-4 cm. After cutting, press the surrounding soil tightly

4. Maintenance and management: after cutting, place the blue snowflake in the astigmatism position to ensure good ventilation conditions, keep the temperature at about 20-25 ℃, and cover it with transparent plastic film, which can play the role of heat preservation and moisture retention

The cutting propagation time of blue snowflake is better in late spring or early autumn. These two time periods are more appropriate, and the temperature is relatively mild, which is just conducive to rooting
