Cuttings can affect its survival. Boxwood can be cut with old branches, which can also survive. However, the survival rate is not very high. It is best to choose robust branches from one year to two years old. The survival rate of such branches should be higher. The selected branches should be free of diseases and pests, in good growth condition and vigorous vitality. The time of cutting branches is about 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and put them in the shade to avoid excessive evaporation of water

3、 Treatment of branches

After cutting off the branches, because the wound part can take root during callus, remove the branches and leaves below, and then bind the branches and soak them in a container with clean water

4、 Cutting

Applying enough water in the soil before cutting can be conducive to rooting in the later stage. After that, the branches are inserted into the soil to a depth of about 3-4 cm, and then covered with plastic film, which can keep warm and moisturize. After that, pour water every 7 days or so, and keep the temperature at about 20-30 ℃
