1、 What kind of soil
Peacock ball has less strict requirements for soil quality. It mainly ensures good drainage and loose nutrition. Sandy loam will be better, which can promote the timely discharge of water and prevent the accumulation of water from leading to rotten roots. Peat soil can be used as the main soil, adding coarse sand, vermiculite, perlite, etc. in order to ensure nutrition, a certain amount of plant ash can also be added to provide nutrition. You can also use rotten leaf soil, coarse sand and garden soil in the proportion of 2:3:1. The mixture is also very suitable, with both nutrition and ventilation. Or simply mix the garden soil with vermiculite and perlite, and the effect is also very good p>
2、 Precautions
1. After breeding for about 1-2 years, the nutrients in the soil may be exhausted and cannot be absorbed for growth. Therefore, it is optional to change the pots in spring and prepare new soil for cultivating peacock balls, so as to continuously provide nutrient support p>
2. The medium and long-term growth may lead to the hardening of loam and the restriction of root growth. Therefore, loosen the soil in time to ensure the loosening effect p>
