1、 Planting time

Garlic likes to grow in a cold climate. For the stems and leaves on the ground, the most suitable temperature for growth is about 12-16 degrees Celsius. Due to the different climate and environment in different regions, the planting time is also different. For the southern region, the best time for planting is about September to October in autumn, and it won't freeze to death in winter. For areas that are inclined to the north, if they are planted in autumn, they may be frostbitten in winter, so it is best to choose spring sowing, which can be specific from February to April. Sowing too early or too late is not suitable. If the sowing time is too early, the ability to survive the winter will be reduced and may be damaged by freezing. If the sowing time is too late, it will lead to low yield and poor quality

2、 Sowing time in different areas

1. Zhejiang: Zhejiang belongs to the southern region and is suitable for autumn sowing. The time is about from late September to early October. After growth, the harvest time is in early June of the next year

2. Jiangsu: it is sown here in late September and harvested in late May of the next year

3. Jinan: Jinan is suitable for planting in the middle of February in spring and can be harvested in early June

4. Shenyang: the climate here is cold. It can be planted in the middle and late March of spring and harvested in the middle of July

5. Qinghai: Qinghai is suitable for planting in the first and middle of April and harvesting in the first and middle of September
