1、 When are strawberries planted

Strawberries do not have high requirements for planting time. They can be planted all year round. As long as it can be provided with a warm environment and the soil in which it is planted can always maintain a certain humidity, its seeds can germinate smoothly

However, the ripening time of strawberries planted in different seasons will be different. Strawberries planted in spring can mature in only about 4 months. Plants planted at other times take longer to mature. Therefore, if conditions permit, it is best to plant in March April of spring

2、 How to grow strawberries

1. Treatment of seeds: when planting it, you should choose healthy and full seeds. Before planting, the seeds need to be wrapped in gauze, and then soaked in warm water for 24 hours to promote germination

2. Sowing: soft and thick soil should be selected as culture soil. If it is planted on the ground, it is necessary to prepare the ground and apply fertilizer before planting. After treatment, the seed is lightly sown on the soil surface and covered with a thin layer of soil to keep warm and moist. It can germinate in about 2 weeks

3. Thinning: after a period of maintenance, thinning can be carried out when it grows 3-4 leaves. Pull out some over dense seedlings and keep the plant spacing between 20-25cm. In this way, the remaining plants can get enough growth space. If seedlings are not intercropped, they will grow poorly due to insufficient growth space
