1、 Time selection
When using air roots for reproduction, we should choose the right time. A good climate environment can be conducive to rooting and facilitate later reproduction. If air root propagation is used, the surrounding temperature should be maintained between 18 ~ 25 ℃, so it is best to choose the time from March to April in spring, and the survival rate will be relatively high. The climate is different in different regions, and the time can be adjusted slightly p>
2、 Cut the air root
Observe the whole plant growth of Phyllostachys pubescens, judge the location of the air root, and then cut the air root from the position close to the base, and cut the air root of 3-4 sections. Do not cut immediately after cutting, but put it in a ventilated place to dry p>
3、 Preparation of basin soil
There are not many requirements for the selection of flowerpots. They don't need to be too large. There are drainage holes at the bottom. The soil should be selected well, which requires good ventilation and drainage. Such soil can be conducive to rooting. It should be exposed to the sun and disinfected before use p>
4、 Cutting Rooting
Bury the treated branches in the basin soil, properly water and moisturize them, and maintain the appropriate temperature around them. After a period of time, the air roots will germinate and take root, so they can be moved to the new basin soil for planting, and light, water and fertilizer can be given reasonably p>
