1、 Check the plant

The Gardenia purchased from www.gardenia.com needs to be unpacked immediately, and then check the condition of the plant. If there are diseases and pests in the root or branches and leaves, it needs to be handled in advance. Remove the soil mass attached to the root, then trim the root system, cut off the old roots and rotten roots, and those with yellow or rotten leaves on the plant also need to be cut off

2、 Prepare basin soil

The soil mass on the plant is not suitable for family maintenance, and there may be diseases and pests, so it is necessary to prepare new pot soil for planting. The flowerpot should not be too large. There must be a drainage hole at the bottom of the basin to facilitate the discharge of water. The soil is required to be breathable and soft, with good drainage. 3、 Upper pot planting
