1、 Cutting method
1. Branch selection: it is very important to select appropriate cuttings. The best length is about 10cm, and the best is the strong branch growing on the top. The branches should also have bud points. It is best to have 2-3 bud points. When cutting, try to be faster to avoid greater damage to the branches p>
2. Treatment: after selecting branches, the leaves should be cut off, generally as long as there are 2-3 leaves on the top. The bottom of the cuttings should be cut obliquely, so that the branches can better absorb nutrients and water, and the rooting speed will be faster. After that, use potassium permanganate for disinfection and air drying p>
3. Matrix: the matrix of cutting should be selected well. It likes to grow in a fertile and breathable matrix. The cutting matrix can be mixed with humus soil, garden soil, river sand and organic fertilizer. The soil should be clean. It is better if it can be disinfected before use p>
4. Cutting: when cutting, don't hurt its stem skin, otherwise the wound will rot very easily. Carefully insert it into the matrix, put it in a half shade position, and control the temperature at 13-18 ℃. It will take about 15-20 days to take root p>
2、 Cutting time
Cutting geranium is best in spring and autumn. This is its peak growth period, and the growth speed will be faster after cutting. It is dormant in June and July. Cutting is not allowed at this time. Branches are easy to blacken and rot in the soil p>
