1、 Breeding mode
Okra breeding method is relatively single, and can only be sown. The main reason why cutting and grafting are rarely used for reproduction is that the survival rate is relatively low. Sowing can not only be carried out on a large scale, but also can be used in family potted plants, and it is also relatively easy to operate p>
2、 Sowing time
Okra is an annual herb. It can only be sown in spring. This is not only because the temperature in spring is suitable for plant growth, but also because it needs a long growth cycle. If sown in other seasons, the plant may experience a low temperature environment, which is very unfavorable to its development. Usually, it is held in February in the South and in May in the north p>
3、 Seed soaking and germination
Before sowing okra, it is necessary to promote germination by soaking seeds. Soak its seeds in water for more than 12 hours, take them out and wrap them with a wet cloth, and then put them at 25-30 ℃. Generally, they can sprout in 24 hours. And do not wait until all seeds sprout before sowing, as long as 60-70% of the seeds show signs of budding p>
4、 Land preparation and fertilization
The soil for planting okra must be leveled first, then ploughed deeply, and then applied with enough base fertilizer. The fertilizer is generally rotten organic fertilizer with a small amount of compound fertilizer, which can supplement more comprehensive nutrition. After fertilization, the soil needs to be used as a border for sowing p>
5、 Sowing
Okra is generally sown in holes, and three seeds are sown in each hole. First pour a little water, then sow the seeds inside and cover with 2cm of soil. After sowing, keep the soil moist, which is more conducive to the growth of seedlings. After growing to leaves, apply fertilizer appropriately p>
