1. Sowing method
Basin selection: for the basin for planting orchids, you can choose a relatively high ceramic basin with drainage holes to ensure certain water retention and air permeability. And use clean foam or large granular gravel pad. Then fill the basin with soil prepared with fine sand and culture soil in the ratio of 1:1 p>
Seed soaking: soak the seeds taken from the uncracked fruit in sodium chlorate solution for seven or eight minutes. Then take it out and wash it with clean water, then wrap the seeds with clean toilet paper, absorb the water, and put them in the sun p>
Sowing: Sprinkle the sun dried seeds evenly on the surface of the basin soil, then cover it with a thin layer of soil, and pour some water to wet the basin soil p>
Curing: place it in a well ventilated place with scattered light, and keep the temperature at about 25 ℃. Then wrap the flowerpot with a plastic bag to keep warm, and tie a few small holes on it to facilitate the ventilation of seeds. Generally, it takes four to six months for orchid seeds to sprout. Just wait patiently p>
2. Ramet method
When planting orchids by plant splitting method, it is necessary to stop watering in advance and let the basin soil return to dryness. Then carefully take out the orchid plant from the original flower pot, remove the old soil, comb the root system, find the ramet point and cut it separately with sterilized scissors. After branching, the old roots, bad roots and diseased leaves of the plant shall be cut off, and then each wound shall be sprayed with bactericide for sterilization and disinfection, and put in a cool place to dry. After drying, plant in pots according to the number of three to five plants in each pot p>
