1. Preparation of plant materials: Rootless orchid seedlings should be cultivated with plant materials with good permeability and water holding capacity. It is suggested that two parts of pine bark with large particles and one part of pumice with large particles should be mixed and paved on the bottom of the basin, and a layer of plant material made of pine scale mixed with volcanic stone particles should be paved above it, then a layer of water moss should be paved, and a layer of volcanic stone with small particles should be paved. This kind of plant material is very breathable and water retaining, which is very suitable for the growth of rootless orchid seedlings

2. Clean raising: after the rootless orchid seedlings are put into the basin, they need to be placed in a warm place for raising. It is suggested to control the temperature around it at about 20 ℃. During maintenance, try to avoid external stimulation, strong light and fertilization. Otherwise, it may cause growth problems. Watering should also be properly controlled, once every 7-10 days to keep the plant material slightly wet and dry

2、 Do you need deep planting

Rootless single seedling orchids do not need deep planting. Because it has not yet grown roots at this time, it does not need to draw water and nutrients from the underlying plant materials. Moreover, planting it shallower can slightly reduce the resistance of its long root and help it take root. After it takes root smoothly, it can be covered with a layer of water moss above the plant material to wrap its root system
