1、 Is disinfection required
The roots of Dendrobium seedlings need to be disinfected before they are put into the pot. You can go to the flower and bird market or the farmers' market to buy special disinfectants and disinfect them before putting them into the basin. Because the purchased seedlings may have a lot of residual bacteria in the root system. If you don't pay attention to disinfection, it is likely to infect the plant root system and pollute the soil, which is very unfavorable to the plant growth p>
2、 Flowering time
After planting Dendrobium seedlings, they basically do not bloom in that year. It needs to grow for a period of time to bloom. Even in warmer weather, it has to wait for the next spring to bloom. If the maintenance is not good at ordinary times, the flowering time is likely to be prolonged, and even non flowering may occur p>
3、 Methods of promoting flowering
1. Sunshine: when breeding, you need to see more sunshine. You can't put it in a place with poor light all day. You should give it enough sunshine. If you lack light, it will affect flower bud differentiation p>
2. Temperature: if the temperature is relatively low, it is also difficult to blossom. Usually, the temperature needs to be adjusted between 15 ~ 28 degrees when flowering. If the curing temperature is too high or too low, it may not bloom p>
3. Water and fertilizer: it should be replenished in time, usually keeping the soil slightly wet. And apply some nutrients to it, and an appropriate amount of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer can be applied. In addition, the breeding environment should be well ventilated and should not be maintained in too hot and stuffy places p>
