1、 Water or soil
Dendrobium candidum can be raised in water and soil. Both methods can survive and be maintained, but the soil is not ordinary soil. Hydroponics is convenient and easy to operate. Dendrobium candidum has strong vitality and likes a humid growth environment, so hydroponics is also easy to survive. You can prepare a transparent glass bottle, wash and disinfect it in advance, wash the selected plants, wash the soil off the plants, cut off the old roots, soak it in carbendazim solution for disinfection, and then dry it for hydroponics p>
Soil cultivation is not troublesome. During the maintenance, we should pay attention to regular watering to ensure good water supply. Soil cultivation has a high probability of diseases and pests, so we should prevent and control diseases and pests p>
2、 What kind of soil
The roots of Dendrobium candidum are not suitable for ordinary soil. Its roots are shallow aerial roots. Ordinary soil will make it difficult for the roots to breathe. For the selection of substrate, it needs to be breathable, loose, well drained and acidic. You can use water moss, bacterial bran, wood bran, bark, peat, etc. After selecting the matrix, it can not be used directly. It needs to be disinfected first. You can boil the matrix in boiling water and then take it out to dry. You can also disinfect it with medicine p>
