1、 Cutting time
Pitaya cutting is a common breeding place. When cutting, the climate should be mild and stable. March to may in spring is the most suitable, and it can also be carried out in autumn. When cutting, the temperature should not be too high or too low. It can be stabilized at about 20 ℃ p>
2、 Cutting method
1. Cuttings: the cuttings used for cutting should be strong, the stem nodes with relatively strong growth should be cut, and the incision should be smooth. It is best to cut them from the mother plant in an oblique shape p>
2. Disinfection: after cutting off the required stem nodes, apply some plant ash appropriately, or dip some carbendazim powder, which can play the role of disinfection. It can also be dried for 3-5 hours and then disinfected in potassium permanganate p>
3. Matrix: the matrix of cutting should be prepared. Coarse river sand and peat soil can be used, and too viscous soil cannot be used. The most important thing is to disinfect in advance, otherwise the bacteria in the soil will invade the cuttings from the incision p>
4. Cutting: insert the sterilized stem nodes into 1 / 3 of the depth of the matrix. Don't hurt the skin of the cuttings when cutting. You can dig a hole in the soil first, and then put it in and bury it p>
3、 Post cutting watering management
After cutting, don't water it first. Keep the soil dry. Just wait about 10 days to water it. It can't take root before the temperature changes greatly p>
