1、 Can cutting propagation be carried out

Lysimachia christinae can be propagated by cutting. Because the seeds are relatively small and difficult to collect, cutting is a commonly used propagation method. The cutting operation is relatively simple and the survival rate is also very high. There is no too much limit on the time. Cutting can be carried out all year round. However, the best time is in spring and autumn, and the temperature is relatively appropriate, which is good for the survival and growth in the later stage. It can also be carried out in other seasons, but pay attention to avoid summer noon

2、 Cutting method

1. Cutting cuttings: before cutting, cuttings should be selected, and plants of Lysimachia christinae with good growth should be selected. Strong branches without diseases and insect pests should be cut from above to ensure that there are 3-4 stem nodes on each section and leaves are reserved at the top. The survival rate of such branches should be high

2. Preparation of matrix: there are not many requirements for the matrix. It is mainly to ensure air permeability and looseness. Vermiculite, peat soil and perlite can be mixed. The prepared matrix can promote rooting

3. Cutting: insert the cut cuttings of Lysimachia christinae into the matrix, with a depth of about 3cm, and do not need to be too deep

4. Maintenance and management: after cutting, the cuttings can be watered for several times and placed in a semi shady environment to wait for rooting. The surrounding temperature is maintained at about 18-22 ℃
