1、 Cutting time
The cutting propagation of Camellia should be at the end of spring or the beginning of autumn. The specific time is from May to June and from September to October. The temperature, humidity and climate during this period are suitable for rooting and later growth p>
2、 Processing cuttings
Strong and semi lignified branches should be selected for cuttings to ensure that there are no diseases and pests. After selection, use scissors to deal with the length of 10cm, remove the lower leaves and leave two or three pieces on the top. The notch at the bottom should be flat, preferably chamfered p>
3、 Prepare basin soil
Cutting has almost no requirements for soil. Sand can be directly used as soil as long as it is loose and has good drainage performance. Flower pots can be made of plastic or ceramic pots, or directly use disposable cups, but only 1-2 can be inserted into a cup p>
4、 Cutting into soil
After preparing the basin soil, you can cut. When inserting, first poke several holes on the surface with chopsticks, with a spacing of 3-5cm. After that, insert the cuttings into the hole, about 3cm deep into the soil, compact the surrounding soil and pour water p>
5、 Post insertion curing
The cuttings are watered after cutting, and then covered with plastic film for moisturizing and heat preservation. The temperature should be between 18-25 degrees. Spray water on the leaves frequently. In this way, it can grow in more than a month. Be careful not to worry about the sun, and then gradually increase the light after rooting p>
