1、 Do you want roots
Changing pots for asparagus is usually once every 1-2 years. If the plant grows for such a long time, the root system is prone to withering and diseased roots. Therefore, such unhealthy roots must be cut off. Only after pruning, the new root system can grow and its whole root position can be more robust. When pruning the root system, it is generally to cut off the diseased root, old root, fine and weak root, etc. after pruning, the wound should be treated in time and disinfected with potassium permanganate or carbendazim, otherwise it is easy to be infected after being put into the basin p>
2、 How about changing the basin
1. Take off the basin: cut off the water two days before changing the basin, which will make it easier to take off the basin. First loosen the soil in the basin, and then pour out the asparagus. The soil on the root system should be removed, but the root should not be damaged. After taking off the basin, root pruning and disinfection should be carried out. In addition, if the growth state of branches and leaves is not good, they should also be properly trimmed p>
2. Pot soil: prepare a large flowerpot and put some clean stones at the bottom of the flowerpot after disinfection, which will be more breathable. After that, the new nutrient soil is exposed to the sun for disinfection and put into the flowerpot p>
3. Upper basin: after pruning and disinfecting the root system of asparagus, put it into the prepared basin soil, stretch its root system, and then fill it. Wait until the basin needs to be watered, and then put it in a cool and ventilated place. Generally, you can take the basin in about half a month p>
