1、 Correct cutting steps

1. Time selection: for cutting, it is necessary to select the appropriate time, preferably in spring and autumn. The climate in these two time periods is relatively suitable, the temperature can be maintained at about 20 degrees, and the survival rate after cutting is relatively high. Other time periods are OK, but pay attention to the control of surrounding temperature

2. Cutting cuttings: select a robust plant of Phyllostachys pubescens, cut robust branches from above, and then divide them into several sections. Each section should have two nodes to retain air rooting, and remove too many leaves. Cutting cannot be done immediately after cutting, but it can be put aside to dry

3. Preparation of matrix: the matrix of cutting is mainly breathable, loose and breathable. It can be prepared with fine sand, vermiculite, peat soil and perlite. In this way, the prepared matrix can meet the requirements of cutting. After preparation, disinfect and sterilize to remove bacteria and insect eggs

4. Cutting: insert the branches into the matrix, with the thin end facing up and the rooted end facing down
