1、 What is the main focus
There are three propagation methods of peach blossom, namely sowing propagation, cutting propagation and grafting propagation. The three methods have their own advantages and disadvantages, but grafting is usually the main method. Grafting can retain the characteristics of the original plant and have a short growth cycle. Compared with sowing and cutting, it can develop to flowering and fruiting faster. Sowing and cutting are usually suitable for large-scale propagation, and it takes a long time to wait until flowering and fruiting p>
2、 Breeding mode
1. Sowing: the fruit period of peach blossom is generally from June to August. At this time, the fruit is picked, and the seed is retained after the pulp is removed. The sowing time is generally in spring or autumn. The emergence rate of autumn sowing is high, and the growth is also very rapid. Soak the seeds for 5-7 days before sowing, which can promote germination. Prepare the seedbed and bury the seeds in it p>
2. Cutting: Peach Blossom cutting is divided into hard branch cutting and soft branch cutting. Hard branch cutting is mostly carried out in spring. Cutting 20 cm long cuttings and soaking Carbendazim and indole butyric acid at the bottom can prevent bacteria and promote rooting. Softwood cutting is carried out in Meiyu season, and about two-thirds of the branches are inserted p>
3. Grafting: Peach Blossom grafting is mostly used, including branch grafting and bud grafting. The branch connection needs to be carried out in March. After cutting the branches, the bottom is cut into an inclined plane and inserted into the incision of the rootstock. Budding is mostly carried out from July to August. The full axillary buds are cut off with the bark, cut into a shield shape and inserted into the T-shaped incision of the rootstock p>
