Peach cutting generally takes about a month to take root. There are many factors affecting rooting. First, the temperature and humidity should be controlled. 2、 Cutting method

1. Cuttings treatment: select the mother tree with strong growth and no diseases and insect pests, and find a strong branch from above. The branch should be sunny and the bud tip should be full. Cut the branches as cuttings. The lower cut should be 0.5cm below the node and the cut should be smooth. Remove the middle and lower leaves and keep only the upper 2-3 leaves

2. Preparation of substrate: in order to make cuttings grow better, special substrate culture is needed. Vermiculite, perlite or river sand are generally used. The particles of this kind of matrix are large and have good drainage and air permeability, which is very helpful for the growth of roots. If the soil with too much viscosity is used for cutting, it is easy to make it unable to take root

3. Cutting: after the matrix and cuttings are prepared, cutting can be carried out. First poke a hole in the substrate with chopsticks, and then insert the insert into it. The depth is generally one-third or one-half of the length. If it is hardwood cutting, it can be deeper, usually two-thirds of the insertion length, and the surrounding soil should be compacted after insertion

4. Subsequent maintenance: in order to ensure that the cuttings can take root smoothly, it is necessary to maintain a certain temperature and moderate after cutting, and put it in the semi shade to receive a certain amount of light.
