Hyacinth is a relatively cold resistant flower plant. In the south, because the outdoor temperature is relatively high, it can survive the winter outdoors. However, only for hyacinth cultivated in soil, it is problematic for hyacinth cultivated in water, which may freeze the water and frostbite the bulbs. In the north, although hyacinth can withstand short-term frost, it's better to move it indoors for breeding, which is safer. However, there are heating equipment in the north, and the high temperature in the growth environment will also interfere with the growth. It can be placed on the balcony, which can ensure good temperature and sunshine

2、 How to raise in winter

1. Sunlight exposure: the sunlight intensity in winter is small, so it can be placed in a place with bright indoor light to fully accept the sunlight and meet the needs of growth

2. Reduce moisture: the hyacinth cultivated in soil should be watered less in winter. Generally, it can supply water when the basin soil is dry. It can't be watered too much, there is ponding, otherwise it will lead to rotten roots. For hydroponic hyacinth maintained indoors, the interval of water change can be lengthened. It can be changed once a half month to avoid damaging young roots

3. Keep the temperature: for soil culture, keep the temperature at about 5-10 ℃, and for hydroponic culture, keep it at about 10-15 ℃
