1、 Illumination
Acorus calamus likes light. Whether it is planted by the water or potted for maintenance, it should be planted in the area with good light. More exposure to the sun is conducive to the plant to accumulate nutrients and blossom and bear fruit p>
2、 Temperature
The most suitable temperature for the growth of Acorus calamus is 20-25 ℃. If the temperature is lower than 10 ℃, the Acorus calamus will stop growing. If the temperature is lower, the plant will naturally yellow leaves. In winter, it will sneak into the soil with underground stems to survive the winter p>
3、 Watering
When planting, keep the main bud close to the soil surface, fill with water for 1-3cm, find a large watertight flower pot with a diameter of 40-50cm, expose the growth point after planting the rhizome, add water for 1-3cm, and maintain a relatively stable water level p>
4、 Fertilization
There is no need to apply fertilizer for field planting. Like the pond mud itself, it is full of fertility. Potted plants need to apply base fertilizer at the bottom of the pot and topdressing 2-3 times. The initial fertilization is mainly nitrogen fertilizer. Before heading and flowering, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer is used, and the fertilizer is applied less than 5cm into the soil p>
5、 Pruning
Before the coming of winter every year, cut off the dead leaves of the aboveground part of the plant, clean it up, pour out the water in the basin, keep the soil moist, and wait until the next spring to change the basin and plant again p>
