1、 Sowing and propagation
The planting time of Pennisetum is mostly in spring. At this time, the climate is relatively warm, which is conducive to seed rooting and germination. First, soak the seeds in water, cover them with a layer of fresh-keeping film to keep warm, tie a few holes and put them in a ventilated and cool place. Change the water often, and they will germinate soon. After germination, the seeds shall be buried in the soft soil matrix, properly watered and moisturized, but they shall not be exposed to sunlight until the seedlings grow p>
2、 Cutting propagation
Cutting is also a common way of propagation. Select the robust plant and cut off its stem, with a length of 3-5cm. Remove the leaf under the stem and insert it into the soil or water. If cutting is in the soil, it needs to be watered frequently, or put a tray containing water at the bottom of the basin to moisturize. If it is inserted into the water, it needs to change the water regularly to avoid the deterioration of water quality and its decay p>
3、 Ramet propagation
The ramets of Pennisetum are also mostly in spring and autumn. Generally, group plants with dense growth should be selected. In case of soil culture, the plant needs to be removed from the pot, and then divided into several clusters with a knife. Be careful not to cut its roots, so as not to affect the recovery of the plant. After the division, it can be replanted and watered properly at the same time. If it is hydroponics, it is much simpler. Take out several plants directly, put them into a new container, and then pour an appropriate amount of water p>
