2、 Pruning method

1. Pick the heart: after the happiness tree grows to a certain height, you need to pick the heart for it. The time of picking the heart is not fixed. Usually, it should be carried out as soon as possible in case it grows too high and is inconvenient to take care of. But for outdoor breeding, it can be later and make it grow taller, which makes it look more beautiful. After the terminal bud is removed, the plant will lose the apical advantage, so it can also promote the development of lateral branches and inhibit overgrowth

2. Thinning: the growth speed of happiness tree is very fast. If it is not thinned in time, the branches and leaves will block each other, which will not only affect the beauty, but also be unfavorable to the internal ventilation and light transmission, and may cause diseases and pests. Usually, the branches that are too long and too dense should be cut off, and the Cross branches and overlapping branches should be removed in time to make them look cleaner

3. Pruning roots: happiness trees do not need pruning roots under normal circumstances, but if the roots of plants rot due to excessive water and fertilizer, the roots should be pruned in time. First take out the plant from the flowerpot, then cut off the rotten part with scissors, and apply carbendazim to the wound, which can have the effect of disinfection. After air drying, plant it again with sterilized new soil
