1、 Planting method of saffron seed ball
1. Prepare pot soil: prepare loose and fertile soil, such as planting with 80% rotten leaf soil and 20% coarse sand, or buy ready-made nutrient soil for seed ball p>
2. Check the seed ball: check whether the seed ball has moldy and rotten places. If so, cut off the problematic places and dry the wounds. If there is no problem, it can be planted directly p>
3. Planting balls: generally, five balls can be planted in a flowerpot with a diameter of 15cm. When planting, place the bulbs on the soil surface with the roots facing down and the buds facing up, cover the 5cm thick soil and pour water p>
4. Maintenance after planting: after planting, place it in the astigmatism and ventilation place. After the seed ball germinates, increase the light to the full day light. When 3cm below the soil surface is dry, it feels light and watery when holding the basin soil p>
5. Thin fertilizer and frequent application: after the first true leaf of saffron is extracted, water with balanced fertilizer and water of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium every half a month. When the plant grows up, use phosphorus and potassium fertilizer until saffron blooms, and its flowering period can last about two weeks p>
2、 What month is saffron planted
Crocuses can be planted from late September to early November every year. Some flower friends buy seed balls imported from abroad and receive the goods in December. It doesn't matter. We can plant them in time after receiving the goods. Generally, crocuses can bloom after planting for about three months p>
