1、 Cutting time

The cutting time of money tree is generally in spring and autumn, which is the growth period of the plant. The climate is relatively warm, so it is easier to take root after cutting. If cutting in summer, because the temperature is too high, the bottom of the plant is easy to rot and the survival rate is relatively low. In winter, the temperature is too low, so it is not easy to take root after cutting

2、 Cuttings treatment

There are two kinds of cuttings of money tree, one is leaf, the other is leaf axis. When using leaves as cuttings, be sure to ensure its integrity without wounds or diseases. Use the leaf axis as the cuttings, and keep at least two leaves on it. In contrast, the latter has faster rooting speed and high germination rate

3、 Basin soil preparation

If leaves are used as cuttings, basin soil should be prepared by mixing river sand and vermiculite, which can ensure a certain air permeability and drainage capacity. If the leaf axis is used as the cutting ear, the basin soil can be prepared with peat soil, perlite and river sand, and the ratio of the three is 3:1:1. Because peat soil has certain water retention, it is also very suitable to be used as the matrix of adult plants

4、 Cutting

Insert the leaves of the money tree into the matrix. Generally, small bulbous stems with roots can grow after 10-14 days, and small plants can grow after 2-3 months. If cutting with leaf axis, the depth is about one-third or one-half. After proper water spraying, put it in a semi shady place, and the temperature is controlled between 25-27 ℃
