2. Suitable temperature: water lilies are suitable to grow in a warm environment. They will bloom only when the temperature is 25-30 ℃. Too hot or too cold will stop their growth and fail to bloom. Ventilation needs to be strengthened in summer, which can effectively cool down. In winter, put the plants in the sunny place to avoid freezing on the water surface

3. Sufficient light: water lily is a light loving plant. Its growth is inseparable from sufficient light. Usually, it must be placed in a sunny place to let it fully receive light, so as to better carry out photosynthesis and accumulate nutrients, so as to promote flowering. Moreover, it is resistant to strong light and is not afraid of exposure, and there is no shade at noon in summer

4. Proper fertilization: water lilies grow in water. Fertilization is different from terrestrial plants. Generally, nutrient solution can be applied. If you want to apply solid fertilizer, you need to wrap it with paper with good water absorption, and tie several holes on the paper to release nutrients into the water, so as to avoid accelerating the growth of algae and other aquatic plants after the fertilizer sinks to the bottom

The flowering period of water lilies is from May to August. The flowering time of a day usually starts at 12 noon and lasts until 3 or 4 pm. The flowers close after sunset and reopen the next day, usually for 3-5 days
