1、 How to survive the winter safely

1. Temperature control treatment: Fugui bamboo has poor cold resistance and low temperature in winter. The first thing to consider is temperature control. The temperature should be about 20 degrees before it can grow in such an environment. If the temperature is about 10 degrees, it will stop growing. If it is lower than 10 degrees, it is easy to produce freezing injury. Also pay attention not to put it next to the heating equipment, otherwise it is easy to be burned. If there is no heating in the room, wrap it with old clothes to help it survive the winter

2. Reduce watering: its growth rate is relatively slow in winter, and its water demand will naturally be reduced. If you want to reduce watering, do not water the soil if it is not dry. If it is water fed, change the water regularly, preferably every 20-30 days. Also control the water temperature. The water temperature should be close to the room temperature to reduce stimulation

3. More sun exposure: it is shade resistant, but the light in winter is very soft. You can put it in a place with light and let it bask more in the sun. This can not only improve the temperature of the plant, but also promote its better photosynthesis, so as to accumulate more nutrients, which is beneficial to the winter

2、 What about frostbite

In case of slight frostbite, the frozen leaves should be cut off in time and moved to a warm place. The temperature should be above 10 degrees and sufficient light should be given to it. If the environment is suitable, the plants will recover slowly. But if the frostbite is serious, take off the basin and trim, cut off the frostbite part, and plant again after disinfection
