1、 Soil
The requirements of duck palm wood for soil are not high. If the soil is too poor when you first buy it, you can change the soil, but try not to shoot off the soil at the root and replace the surrounding soil. Use soft and fertile soil to increase the permeability and drainage of the soil. If the soil ball is better, you can only replace the basin, and it is better to add some thin fertilizer at the bottom. If the root is damaged when changing the basin, the soil and root should be disinfected in time to avoid infection with bacteria p>
2、 Temperature and light
When you buy it back, you should give it a comfortable environment. An environment with good ventilation and appropriate temperature is more conducive to its growth. The average temperature of the environment can be around 20 ℃, so as to avoid the sun exposure, otherwise it may cause problems such as dry leaves p>
3、 Watering
When you first buy it, you'd better not pour too much water. It's a water loving plant, but when you first adapt to the environment, its roots absorb water slowly. Watering too much will cause its roots to soak and rot. After adapting to the environment, normal watering can be carried out. Watering can be carried out after the soil is dry. Water can be sprayed properly to increase the humidity of leaves, which is conducive to the growth of plants p>
4、 Fertilization
Don't rush to fertilize when you first buy it, otherwise it may lead to rotten roots. After it adapts to the environment, it can regularly apply some rotten fertilizer to promote its growth. You can also apply some liquid fertilizer appropriately, but do not apply a large amount of fertilizer, so as not to cause the problem of root burning p>
5、 Pruning
It should be trimmed in time. If the branches and leaves inside the plant are too dense, it is best to trim some branches and leaves to increase its internal ventilation and light transmission. Trim off the crooked branches and leaves and the branches with poor growth to maintain the good shape of the tree p>
