1、 Soil
Just bought back, if the soil is not good enough, you can change the basin and soil. Both acidic and alkaline soils are suitable for planting marigold. Marigold can grow in slightly acidic to slightly alkaline soils. When changing pots, you should choose suitable soil. It is best to choose fertile sandy loam with good drainage. You can use mud tile pots with good air permeability. Be sure not to damage the root system while changing the basin. You can cut off the damaged root system p>
2、 Temperature
Marigold likes a warm environment very much. It's best to give it an indoor temperature of 15-20 ℃ when you first take it home. The temperature in winter can't be lower than 5 ℃ and in summer can't be higher than 3 ℃. Improper temperature control may prolong its life cycle p>
3、 Watering
Don't rush to water it when you buy it back. Although it likes a humid environment, it should avoid ponding at the root. But when it comes to growth, we should provide it with enough water. It should be watered twice a day in the hottest summer and once every four or five days in winter when the temperature is low p>
4、 Illumination
Don't give it too strong sunlight when you just buy it. Give it gentle light to adapt to the environment. If the light is insufficient, its stems and leaves may be soft and slender, resulting in fewer and smaller flowers. It is sensitive to light. It can use short sunshine time and less exposure to sunlight to promote its early flowering p>
5、 Fertilization
You can't apply fertilizer when you just bought it, but marigold has a demand for fertilizer. You need to use fertilizer to supply nutrients. Try to apply nitrogen fertilizer. Applying fertilizer once a month can meet its growth needs. First sprinkle the fertilizer on it, and then pour the water through, so that the fertilizer can fully penetrate into the root system of chrysanthemum with the water p>
