Blossom
In fact, freesia is easy to raise. As long as the bulb is healthy, it will not rot if it is just planted. After the flower withers, cut off the handle and put it in a cold place. Water it in another summer and you will soon live p>
To make Freesia bloom, the following conditions must be met:
Flowering bulbs. Usually, large bulbs bloom in the same year, and small bulbs can become flowering bulbs only after one year of planting p>
Plenty of light. When planting Freesia, the light should be sufficient, especially in the growth period p>
Moderate moisture. Don't water too much to prevent the leaves from growing in vain. Don't be short of water at the flowering stage, otherwise the flowers will wilt and won't recover p>
Enough fertilizer. Sufficient base fertilizer shall be applied before planting, and top dressing shall be started when the seedling is 3 ~ 4cm high. It shall be applied every 10 days until flowering, and fertilization shall be stopped during flowering p>
Suitable temperature. Freesia can not overwinter outdoors in winter, so it needs to be moved indoors for maintenance after "frost" p>
Flowering management
After flowering, freesia needs to be maintained and managed according to the routine. Until June to July, when all the leaves are withered and yellow, dig out the bulbs, dry them in the sun and collect them, and then plant them in August p>
